RESEARCHER'S PROFILE PAGE - EDITING FORM
- Apart from the fields present at the time of registration, there are also several others that you can fill-in from your profile page if you want to give more info about yourself and your experience. From all those fields, there are four that are mandatory if you want to make full use of the tool (see the Partnering Tool section below for more info).
- In order to access the "Researcher's Profile Page", please click on Menu->Researcher to access your Researcher page and then click on the "My Account" button. Now you can fill-in the rest of the fields. They are divided by sections according to the type of info that is needed.
- Starting by the picture below, we have the second section of the researcher's profile page (first unfilled one). On this one you have to select the type of collaboration you expect from other researchers (you can select more than one option).
- On this third section, select your areas of expertise. If you can't find one or more of the or subareas you specialize on, just add them by writing in the box located on the right-side of the page and one of the website admins will add it to the list and your profile page later.
- On this section, just select the main calls of interest.
- For this last section, just indicate if you have experience in EU research funded projects, and add up to 5 of them below. If you don't have experience, just select "no" and ignore the box.
- If you selected "Yes" on the experience question, you will see that new fields appear so you can indicate information about the projects in which you have participated (up to a maximum of 5).
PARTNERING TOOL
- In order to access the Connect4Research Partnering Tool, just click on the "Partnering Tool: Connect4research" link from the Main menu that you will be able to see after logging-in (the link is hidden for anonymous users).
Once you do that, you will access the Partnering Tool, which allows you to search for other researchers in pursue of a possible collaboration. This tool will help you find them by selecting the fields of expertise of those you want to get in contact with. To do so, you need to specify the following:
- Areas of Research (The field with a lot of checkboxes that is shown in the picture below)
- Type of collaboration expected
- Institution
- Experience in EU research funded projects
Please take into account that all four of this fields plus the "Main calls of interest" one must be filled-in in order to be able to access other researcher's profiles or to contact them. If they are left empty, you will only be able to use the tool for seacrhing, but you won't be able to use the platform to contact or access other researcher's information.
- Then, the tool will show, on the same page, the researchers' profiles that match the search according to the filters indicated above (like in the picture below):
